PAL’s Heath off to Canisius

Press Release

Hauppauge, N.Y.—The P.A.L. Jr. Islanders and head coach Ed Galiani are proud to announce the commitment of Cameron Heath to NCAA division I Canisius.

A native of Michigan, Heath joined the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders after spending time with the USHL Youngstown Phantoms. Hampered by injury, Heath decided to head east with the United States Premier Hockey League.

“Heath is a great skating defenseman with the ability to join the rush and create offense,” said head coach Galiani. “He has great speed and a no lose attitude that makes him a leader on and off the ice.”

The Golden Griffins welcome Heath and current teammate James Mazza.

“I’m very excited to be joining the team at Canisius,” said Heath. “It’s the next step for me with hockey and I’m happy that there will be some familiar faces.”

The P.A.L. organization congratulates Cameron and his family and wishes him the best in the USPHL playoffs and his collegiate career.
