Portage Terriers’ goaltender Talor Joseph has been named this week’s MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week award ending February 9th.
Joseph, 19, was close to perfect in two games, winning both and
recording a shutout. The Sherwood Park, Ab., native boasted a GAA of
1.00 and save percentage of .967 for the Terriers, who are undefeated in
their last seven games. Terriers sit second in the Addison Division
with 34 wins and 74 points after 53 games.
The runners up are 20 year old forward Justin Augert of the Steinbach
Pistons and 18 year old forward Corey Haverstick of the Virden Oil
Capitals.
