Tyler Noseworthy of the Dauphin Kings has been named the MJHL Player of the Week, ending February 19, Commissioner Kim Davis announced today.
Noseworthy, who hails from the Maritimes, has been a steady player for the Kings, who recently clinched the Sher-Wood Division pennant. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Noseworthy tallied seven points (4-3) last week for the Kings.
Noseworthy, 20, has also proven effective while on the powerplay, evidenced by his six goals while holding the man advantage. In total, he has 41 points (18-23) in 36 games.
The runners up are 19 year old forward Kyle Smart of the Swan Valley Stampeders and 20 year old forward Ward Szucki of the Winkler Flyers.
