WHEAT KINGS RECALL MCGAULEY

Brandon, MB. -- The Brandon Wheat Kings have announced that 16-year old center Tim McGauley has been recalled from the Saskatchewan AAA Midget Hockey League for the balance of the 2011-12 Western Hockey League season.

A former first round bantam draft choice of the Saskatoon Blades in 2010, McGauley finished tenth in league scoring as a member of the Notre Dame Hounds this past season with 29 goals and 53 points in 41 games.

McGauley has played five games with the Wheat Kings as an affiliate player this year and ten career WHL games, having dressed for 5 games with the Blades during the 2010-11 campaign.

The 5'11" 172 lb Wilcox, Saskatchewan product will rejoin the WHL club later today and is expected to be in the Brandon lineup this weekend when the Wheat Kings host Swift Current Friday and the Regina Pats on Saturday.

The Wheat Kings enter the weekend with a record of 32-26-1-3 and trail the seventh place Pats by two points in the Eastern Conference.
