RinkNet Signs Long Term Deal with Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

RinkNet Scouting Software is pleased to announce that it has entered into a long term contract with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League to be the official scouting software provider for the league and for all of it's 18 member teams.

At the league level, the QMJHL Central Scouting Bureau will use the features of RinkNet to evaluate players for the league's annual midget draft as well to track player information, protected lists and schedules. The league will also use RinkNet software to conduct their draft with teams entering their selections right into RinkNet terminals at their table as they are made. RinkNet will coordinate information gathering for the league and league officials will use the program to track player information on a daily basis.

At the team level, each general manager, scout and hockey operations staff member will use RinkNet on a daily basis to track players for the midget draft, free agent players and to prepare for potential trades and other uses. Scouts organize their travel schedule, enter game reports and lists while managers use RinkNet features to track each club's depth chart, monitor player progress and conduct in depth research and analysis. RinkNet has become a key tool for executive and staff members to make them more efficient and better informed.

RinkNet enters full schedules, rosters and player information for every player available for the league draft each year as well as potential free agents and players already drafted. The program operates in both English and French and on computers as well as smart phones and tablets.
