The Olympiques sign a new goalie

Gatineau September 17, 2012- The Olympiques found a new goalie in the 19 year old, Michael Nishi Monday afternoon. Nishi is from the Ontario hockey league, he just took part at the Ottawa 67’s training camp this year. He faced the Olympiques for two periods in the second game of the duel between both teams in Rockland. The 67’s had just cut him from their lineup last week.

In his career in the OHL, he also played for the Greyhounds of Sault Saint Marie and the Spitfires of Windsor. In 27 games, he has 12 wins, 9 loses and 3 loss in overtime while maintaining an average of 3.47 and a percentage of 0.892. Last year, he played 17 games with Ottawa.

He’s 6’01 and 201 pounds.
