Cougars acquire Tomchuk from Tri-City

The Prince George Cougars have acquired 1994-born defenceman Wil Tomchuk (Fort McMurray, AB) from the Tri-City Americans in exchange for a conditional fourth round WHL Bantam Draft pick.

Tomchuk stands 6’2”, weighs 185 pounds and has recorded one assist, 17 penalty minutes and a +4 rating in 25 games this season with the Americans. Tomchuk has dressed in 90 career games in the WHL (all with Tri-City) and has one goal, four points and 61 penalty minutes in that span.
