Press Release
The Spruce Grove Saints are proud to announce that veteran Dylan
Hollman has committed to play for the University of Massachusetts-Lowell
Riverhawks, a member of the NCAA Div.1 Hockey East Conference, for the
2014-15 season.
Dylan, a 3 year veteran, came to the Saints from the Red Deer Optimist
Chiefs Midget AAA program. In his previous 2 seasons with the Saints,
Dylan played in 115 regular season games, accumulating 23 goals and 19
assists for 42 points, and 67 PIMS. This year, as a proven leader both
in the dressing room and on the ice, Dylan is having a banner season,
totalling 24 goals and 11 assists for 35 points in just 36 games. Dylan
was also selected to represent Canada on Team West at the World Junior A
Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Dylan led Team West in scoring
with 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points in just 4 games, helping secure a
Bronze Medal.
"Dylan takes pride in his 200 foot game. He is a guy who is effective
in all 3 zones for us," says Saints Head Coach Jason McKee. "The one
thing about Dylan is that he is able to score in a variety of different
ways. I think that will be very effective for him as he moves forward
in his hockey career."
"I would like to thank my coaches, teammates, and most of all my
parents for helping me get to this point," states Hollman. "Without
them, I would not be where I am today and their support is greatly
appreciated."
The Saints organization would like to congratulate Dylan and his family
on this step in his career and wish him continued success moving
forward both athletically and academically.
