Press Release

Moncton NB – The Moncton Wildcats welcome former Mid Fairfield Blue/Brunswick Prep School, 96’ born Stephan Seegar to the Wildcats.  Stephan is 6 feet 200lbs and a 2013 10th round draft pick of the Moncton Wildcats and he has agreed to join the team for the second half of the 2013-2014 season.

Roger Shannon, Director of Hockey Operations for the Moncton Wildcats said, “Stephan is a big, strong power forward who really thinks the game very well, he made the team out of training camp but needed to return for his final semester of High School in CT.  He is Captain of his team presently, playing in the New England Div. 1 Prep School league.  We are very pleased Stephan has decided to make his way up North and play for us.  His skill set will serve us well down the road, and we look forward to him joining our team. This marks yet another milestone for us as one of 2013 draft picks will join our team. Stephan is only 17 and will get a chance to grow with the team and contribute to the overall success of the team as we build toward many good years of on ice”.
