Press Release

Newark, NJ- The New Jersey Devils have signed former Philadelphia Revolution defenseman Raman Hrabarenka to a tryout contract for the upcoming NHL preseason.

Hrabarenka, a native of Mogilev, Belarus, played for the Revolution in their inaugural campaign in the 2009-10 season. He then joined the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in 2010 and played one and a half seasons before joining the Drummondville Voltigeurs for the end of last season. The 20-year-old defenseman also represented Belarus in the Division IA World Junior Championships and in the IIHF World Championships. Prior to joining the Revolution, he also played for the Belorussian Under-18 team in the Under-18 World Championships in 2008 and 2009.
