Raiders Re-Assign Three

Prince Albert SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have re-assigned 16-year-old goaltender Rylan Parenteau, 17-year-old forward Luke Mahura and 18-year-old forward Jesse Knowler.

Parenteau, a native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, appeared in 2 games for the Raiders in the 2012-2013 Western Hockey League preseason, stopping 33 of 37 shots faced in just under 60 minutes of action. The Raiders 53rd overall pick in the 2011 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft will return to the Saskatoon Contacts of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.

Mahura played in 39 games with the Green and Gold last year, scoring one goal and recording 6 penalty minutes. In four pre-season games, the St. Albert, Alberta product recorded a goal and 2 assists. The Raiders third round selection in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft will report to the Albert Junior Hockey League.

Knowler dressed for 57 games with the Raiders in 2011-2012, scoring a goal and 5 assists. In a pair of exhibition games, the left-winger recorded one assist. The Castlegar, British Columbia native will report to the British Columbia Hockey League.

The Raiders roster is now at 24 players, including 2 goaltenders, 9 defencemen and 13 forwards.
