Press Release
SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs have announced forward Stephen Anderson is scheduled to be discharged today from the Saint John Regional Hospital.
The 19-year-old from Morell, P.E.I., was hospitalized Sunday evening with upper-body injuries, following a body check that forced him to leave that day's game against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, and subsequent complications.
Medical staff monitoring his condition have determined he is ready to leave the hospital, although more home-based recovery time is necessary.
Once again, the Sea Dogs and the Anderson family would like to thank all fans for their support during this time.
