2011-12 OHL Television Broadcast Schedule includes 546 Regular Season Games

Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League in association with broadcast partners Rogers TV, TVCogeco, Eastlink, and Shaw TV, are pleased to announce a regular season broadcast schedule that offers OHL fans a total of 546 games throughout the 2011-12 regular season.

OHL Action Pak subscribers can see all 546 regular season games beginning tonight with the reigning Robertson Cup champion Owen Sound Attack hosting the Plymouth Whalers at 7:00 pm.

The season opener is one of 306 games that will be broadcast on Rogers TV in nine OHL markets this season including Barrie, Brampton, Guelph, Kitchener, London, Mississauga, Oshawa, Ottawa, and Owen Sound. TVCogeco will cover 204 games in six OHL markets including Belleville, Kingston, Niagara, Peterborough, Sarnia, and Windsor, while Eastlink will broadcast all 20 Friday night home games in Sudbury, and Shaw TV will once again air 16 home games from Sault Ste. Marie this season.

In addition, for the seventh straight season OHL fans have the opportunity to see all 680 regular season games through pay-per-view on OHL Livestream provided by NeuLion and available at http://ohl.neulion.com/ohl/. The OHL and NeuLion have introduced new packages, including early bird pricing, for the upcoming season to provide fans with more viewing options.
