Klippers Announce Team Captains

Press Release

The Kindersley Klippers officially unveiled their team captains today. In a bit of a surprise move the organization announced that they would go the route of having two captains this season, one for the home games and one for the road games.

Dawning the C in front of the Kindersley fans will be 20 year old, Major Saskatchewan native, Jordon Hoffman. Representing the team out on the road will be 18 year old, Major Saskatchewan native, Tanner Kissick.

"Both are captains that exemplify what we are looking for, they are guys that work their bags off. Jordon Hoffman has earned the honor of wearing the C at home. He's a third year guy and you know what your getting from him every night. As a coaching staff that's what we wanted in our captains. In terms of Tanner, we look at him as a guy who should be are future captain down the road. He has natural leadership qualities, he is a very well mannered young man that carries himself in a manor that the Klippers want to have as an ambassador for the organization, " explained head coach Rockie Zinger.

Both players take over for the graduating Andrew Dommett who captained the team last season.

The team also announced its alternate captains. At home Taylor Wasden, Taylor Duzan and Jesse Mysiorek will wear the A's. On the road Taylor Duzan, Jordon Hoffman and Ryan Elliot will dawn the A's.
