Golightly Returning From USHL

Press Release

PRINCE GEORGE, BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) are very happy to announce that Chase Golightly will be returning to the team from the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL.

Chase Golightly is a '92 born defenceman from Temecula, California, 5' 10" and 180lbs. He is a very mobile and effective defenceman that made a seamless transition from Junior 'B' to Junior 'A' and became a fan favourite in his 26 games with the club last season. Golightly finished second among defencemen with 13 points (2 goals, 11 assists) and 28 PIMs.

"The return of Chase Golightly to our defense really helps solidify an already strong group," said Spruce Kings General Manager, Mike Hawes. "Chase proved last season that he is capable of being a top defenseman at this level and will be looked upon to play some big minutes for us in all situations."

Chase Golightly will meet up with the Prince George Spruce Kings and is expected to be in the lineup for their first road games of the season. The Spruce Kings are in Penticton on Friday night for the Vees home opener and on Saturday night will play the League’s defending champions, the Vernon Vipers.
