Sting acquire Hodgson from Otters

Sarnia, On – Director of Hockey Operations Bill Abercrombie announced today that the hockey club has completed a deal with the Erie Otters.

The Sting have acquired 1996 born right winger Hayden Hodgson from the Otters.

In exchange the Otters get Belleville’s 3rd round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.

Abercrombie explains his thoughts on the acquisition.

“Hayden is a big strong forward who we’re extremely happy to acquire.  He is hard to play against and has good skill with a lot of upside.”

Hodgson a native of Leamington was the 44th overall pick in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection.
