Slammers make roster moves

The Woodstock Slammers reduced their roster to 23 today. The Slammers traded Kevin Reid to the Yarmouth Mariners. In return the Slammers received a 5th round pick in the 2012 entry draft. The Slammers also released forward Cody Taker. Taker will also be joining the Yarmouth Mariners today. "We really liked both players and they were talented enough to play here but at this time we didn't have roster room for them. They both deserve to play in the league and they have a great place to play in Yarmouth" commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.
