Press Release
The Mississauga Chargers will be hosting the club's first annual
"Pink in the Rink" charity contest at Port Credit Arena on February 15,
2014 at 8pm versus the Cobourg Cougars.
The Chargers join a growing list of OJHL clubs participating in the
tremendous fundraiser to raise awareness and funds in support of Breast
Cancer.
"We are thrilled to dedicate this game to such a worthy cause and
look forward to a great evening and a full house," said Mississauga
Chargers' Governor and OJHL 1st Vice-Chair Lloyd Stockley.
A portion of the ticket price that night will go to the Canadian
Cancer Society and there will also be a variety of fundraising ventures
going on throughout the game.
"The date is on the Family Day long weekend, so we are encouraging
families in the Port Credit area to mark their calendars for Saturday,
February 15th and spend the evening with the Chargers," added Dave
Robinson, the club's Special Event Coordinator.
Further details on the event will be announced in the near future.
