Press Release
Michael Floodstrand’s consistent work ethic and commitment to the
game has earned him many opportunities which he has taken full advantage
of. Coming off injuries as a Bantam Major Michael was able to return
to elite level of play while helping the Midget Minor U16 team win a
National Championship last season. Along the way he turned heads and
proved himself to earn a spot with the NTDP this season alongside former
Mission teammates Christian Fischer (Notre Dame) and Ryan Wagner
(Wisconsin). Michael’s commitment to Harvard goes hand in hand with his
elite level of play and more importantly his dedication to academics.
“Michael is a highly skilled player with a great
mind for the game; we are all looking forward to seeing him progress in
the upcoming years and are proud of all his accomplishments thus far.
Harvard will be receiving a solid individual who can help carry their
University’s tradition.” Greg Tam – Chicago Mission Midget Minor U16 Coach
