River Kings forward Kurt Keats has been named the BCHL Player of the
Week for the week ending Sept. 22, the league announced Tuesday.
Keats helped the Kings to a pair of wins on home ice and rang up two
goals and five assists in the process. The Winnipeg native began with a
goal and four helpers to take 1st Star and the FortisBC Energy Player of
the Game in a 6-4 win over the Nanaimo Clippers. He followed that with a
goal and an assist, 2nd Star and another FortisBC Energy Player of the
Game nod in a 4-0 win over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
