Press Release
Fargo Force forward Christian Cakebread has committed to University
of North Dakota and will begin his college career in the fall of 2015.
Cakebread had several offers to other schools and made his final
decision to commit to UND on Sunday and declining all other offers.
The forward from Gilbert, AZ was signed to a tender by the Fargo
Force prior to the start of the season and has already made quite the
impression, tallying a hat trick at the Fall Classic versus Des Moines
and adding another 2 goals during the regular season home opener last
Friday at Scheels Arena in Fargo.
Cakebread will join current teammate Cam Johnson at UND along with
other former players, goaltender Zane Gothberg (2010-12) and forwards
Colten St. Clair (2008-11) and Bryn Chyzyk (2011-12). He is the 8th player on the current Fargo Force roster to commit to play Division 1 hockey.
