MUSKEGON, Michigan (September 23rd) – The Muskegon Lumberjacks have
announced that affiliate Ryan Larkin has committed to the Miami (Ohio)
University Redhawks out of the newly-formed National Collegiate Hockey
Conference (NCHC) following his junior hockey career.
Larkin, the Clarkston, Michigan native, was the Lumberjacks’
17th-round pick (248th overall) in the 2013 USHL Phase Two Draft and has
spent the previous three seasons in the Honeybaked Hockey Program out
of Detroit. In the three seasons between the pipes for Honeybaked,
Larkin has compiled a record of 21-17-6 to go along with seven shutouts,
a 2.24 goals-against average, and a .885 save percentage.
Ryan is also the younger brother to Adam Larkin, who is currently in his first season as a defenseman for the Lumberjacks.
